Doctors devise an eight-week health plan for the Porter family from Naas, Co Kildare, whose members realise they have a good deal of work to do to improve their future wellbeing. Christy, who is 68 years old, used to be active but is a heavy smoker, while his wife Margaret is overweight and takes a large concoction of pills daily, and his daughter Gwen has a fondness for takeaway food.
