Luisa receives a visit from someone unexpected: her son Arcadio accompanied by Catalina, his fiancée, a woman the same age as Luisa. Arcadio wants to reconcile with his mother and make up for lost time, but the science teacher doesn't know what to think or what to do about it. At the same time, Doña Manuela tries to make her daughter reconsider about her decision regarding Carmen, but the young director is firm: she does not want Carmen to set foot in the academy again.
