José Leôncio reveals to Filó that he always knew that Tadeu was not his son. Zaquieu saves Alcides, just as Tenório aims his gun at the pedestrian. Alcides hits Tenório with his defender, after Zaquieu is shot in the chest by the land grabber. Wounded by Alcides' attack, Tenório takes a boat from an anaconda, which drags him into the river. Alcides takes the injured Zaquieu to the farm.
