A new cold case lands on rookie detective Izumi Sakuragi’s desk: a series of animal killings suspected to be a copycat of an unsolved murder from five years ago. With little physical evidence, Izumi and her partner are stymied until a mysterious girl appears, pleading with them to re-investigate the original crime. Izumi also learns of a rumor that a girl with a red hair accessory is seen before each animal killing, and she begins to investigate the link between the two cases and the mysterious girl.
