October, below a road, in a charming and bucolic place in the valley, Alex Hugo discovers a wrecked car. A few meters away, outside, the driver, dead. This is Dr. Myriam Ferrand, 40 years old, settled for some time, after having lived in Marseilles for a long time. Alex knew her from there, her father is a close friend, he had often praised the beauty of Lusagne to her. Very quickly the investigation will show that it is a murder disguised as an accident, and that a mysterious couple, probably illegitimate, witnessed and tried in vain to save the passenger.
