Capitu runs away before Clara sees her with Fred. Paschoal argues with Capitu. Fred tells Clara that their marriage is over for good. Clara finds Capitu's jewelry on the floor. Danilo asks Camila to convince Alma to forgive him. Alma passes by Danilo as if she hadn't seen him. Only now does Helena realize that she is expecting a child, not a guinea pig. Capitu goes back to his parents' house. Pedro shows Cíntia photos of some land he bought, talks about his plans. Iris feels bitter with Pedro's contempt. Orlando goes to pick up Capitu at her parents' house. Paschoal tries to stop him from entering.
