Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternate roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation, filmed live at the National Theatre in London. In this version Benedict Cumberbatch plays the creature and Jonny Lee Miller plays Victor Frankenstein. Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker.
