Elias, new darling of the world of archeology, is found murdered in the excavation site of the Bordeaux region where he worked. Has he been the victim of his success, or of the mysteries of his past as an adventurer? Unless his death is linked to the disappearance of a rare Paleolithic Venus, freshly exhumed, and deemed accursed. To unearth the secrets of the victim, Mongeville and Valentine will have to investigate with the pick and the brush.
