It is during a concert he attends in a Bordeaux church that the tragedy occurs: the choir director succumbs to a heart attack. For Mongeville, it was a suspicious death. But he is the only one who believes it! Leading a very unofficial investigation, he ends up uncovering secrets that could hide a perfect murder... But it is at this moment that Valentine, a young Captain of Police who is also determined to bring out the truth, intervenes. She is funny, clever, full of life... And they will have to get to know each other to work well together. On a personal level, Mongeville finally finds the trace of his daughter who had disappeared for several years without ever giving any sign of life...
