Per Ivar, a happy owner of his own cabin, gets a stroke in the bow when neighboring cottage is purchased by the parents of his wife Eva. With in-laws right across the hedge throughout the summer, the stage is set for new cottage-related complications. Terje gets his patience tested this summer, when his teenager daughter takes place in the cabin with him and his girlfriend Anki.
