After the mysterious disappearance of the dress Cristina was to wear on the catwalk, Tony begins to suspect that Tamara hid it to sabotage her. Having discovered that Carlos's secret love was Cristina, Tamara seizes every opportunity to make her feel bad, now boasting about their impending marriage. Cristina seeks advice from Father Salvador, expressing the difficulty of raising her son alone, knowing that Carlos is present at her work. She also reveals to Salvador that Carlos is Carolina's son. In a last attempt, Carlos goes to see Cristina and begs her to invite him to stay with her. If she accepts, he is willing to abandon his marriage to Tamara to be with her.
