    Lost - 2004

After their plane, Oceanic Air flight 815, tore apart whilst thousands of miles off course, the survivors find themselves on a mysterious deserted island where they soon find out they are not alone.
Lost is the reason TV series are as we know them today. A controversial show, with a controversial ending, countless theories and fans. Quite possibly doesn't deserve first place anymore, but since it bootstrapped a new generation of TV series, i feel i'm obligated to give it the first spot. Watching the extras is a must as it gives the full story, which makes things even more confusing. But having the full picture, Lost is an amazing show and for everyone that watched it as it aired, a very fond memory. Hundred thousands of people going in forums trying to solve its never ending mysteries! -

    DARK - 2017

When two children go missing in a small German town, its sinful past is exposed along with the double lives and fractured relationships that exist among four families as they search for the kids. The mystery-drama series introduces an intricate puzzle filled with twists that includes a web of curious characters, all of whom have a connection to the town's troubled history -- whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that tie back to the same town in 1986.
An incredible show, filled with many twists, well written script, interesting characters and fantastic plot! Dark is gaining a massive fan base extending way past its home country, Germany. Without spoiling anything, it does what other shows of the same theme couldn't do and it excels with style. The casting is out of this world and it baffles everyone that watches this masterpiece. -

When Walter White, a chemistry teacher, is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live, he chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime with the intent to secure his family's financial security.
Breaking Bad was something unexpected for everyone, even the producers themselves. The ever evolving show got quite a few rewrites, as characters that weren't supposed to stay, stayed and others that weren't supposed to leave, left. Suspenseful and dark, the show never dropped in quality and as seasons went by, it became more and more popular. -

    Game of Thrones - 2010

Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Friction between the houses leads to full-scale war. All while a very ancient evil awakens in the farthest north. Amidst the war, a neglected military order of misfits, the Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the icy horrors beyond.
Game of Thrones is a show that made millions of people lose their mind. Who doesn't know of the Red Wedding nowadays? It became a world phenomenon where people would gather to watch the new episode together as it first aired. The problem is that in the final seasons it lost its character and what made it phenomenal in the first place. The pace change since season seven was disliked by many people but what really killed it was the final season. The problem with the last two seasons was that an amazing and big story came to a sudden end, leaving many things to be imagined by the viewer and others were rushed so much that made no sense. -

    Prison Break - 2005

After getting himself incarcerated in Fox River State Penitentiary to free his wrongly accused brother, Lincoln Burrows, Michael Scofield is now on the loose along with his brother and six other convicts.
Following the success of Lost came another show with a cult following, Prison Break. The show gets most of its praise for its first season, since it became worse after each season. But it still remains a phenomenal show, with lots and interesting characters, (mostly) smart plans, suspense and great prison interactions. -
