Akwen Eldorado

Two fisherman brothers, encouraged by the promise of quickly obtaining a flat, arrive at a fishing farm on Lake Śniardwy. While working, they renovate a cottage rented from Sznajder, a fishing guard. They also befriend Marek, a young ichthyologist. After some time, they discover that poachers are operating on the lake.

The local militia commander and the director of the state farm try to dissuade the brothers from confronting the dangerous bandits. Meanwhile, Agata, the older brother's girlfriend, arrives at the lake.

The trial against Krzysztof and his friend Nalazek quickly turns into a farce. The lawyer hired by the gang leader does everything he can to pin the blame on the brothers. Meanwhile, Marek publishes an article entitled „Akwen Eldorado” in the local weekly newspaper, in which he describes the activities of the poaching gang in detail.

Despite prolonged searches, the militia still cannot find any trace of the brothers. Meanwhile, Jerzy and Wojtek, together with Marek, are searching every nook and cranny of the lake to find the poachers' hideout.
