Star Trek Discovery and Young Sheldon Leads the CBS Fall Line Up

Published: Maj 18, 2017

CBS announced new shows as part of their fall 2017 line up. Leading the charge is none other than the highly anticipated Star Trek Discovery. The show is set to premiere on the paid CBS service CBS All Access. It will be accompanied by a discussion forum after the airing of each episode with "Talking Trek"

This is very similar to how AMC has dealt with The Walking Dead, with a segment titled "The Talking Dead" after airing of the show.

For the many outside of the USA, the show will be available on Netflix. Ensuring trekkies have the proper outlet to watch the show as it airs in the US.

Young Sheldon is the second of heavy hitters CBS has planned for Fall 2017. As the title suggests, this is The Big Bang Theory spinoff that will explore the upbringing of Sheldon Cooper as a 9 year old living in East Texas. Lain Armitage will be playing Sheldon, with Jim Parsons providing the narration. Young Sheldon is set for Thursdays after The Big Bang Theory on CBS this fall!

Other new shows for CBS this fall include SEAL Team, a drama that focuses on the Elite Navy Seals team starring David Boreanaz. SWAT is another police drama headed to CBS.

What do you think of the new heavy hitters at CBS?
