Surgeon Paolo Macchiarini implanted plastic larynxes in at least eight people. Only one of them is still alive. Macchiarini sat down with Kveik. We then talk to an Icelandic man and his mother, who, together with his wife and four children, were caught in the middle of a terrorist attack in Mali.
