After deciding to not renew their apartment lease, this Southern California couple begins their search for a home where they can start a family. He wants a single-story home with Craftsman-like details but she has her eye open for something with two stories and an East Coast vibe. Fortunately, they both covet vintage details because their budget requires them to look at fixer uppers. Once they close on a home, the renovation begins and problems arise as they struggle with an outdated and confusing floor plan. Will they be able to overcome all the obstacles and have their very own Los Angeles dream home?
