Fresh from the altar, Jared and Tara Wells are embarking on the adventure of a lifetime as both of their jobs transfer them from Minnesota to the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. They are setting out on the house hunt with a strict budget in order to use Jersey as a launch pad for European exploration, but the high prices of real estate on the isle suggest they may have to compromise the original plan. While Jared is willing to stay the course and live with the bare minimum in order to fulfil their dream of travel, Tara is beginning to question whether giving up the comforts of home will be worth it.
