Mitsuru decides to stay on Earth, and he and Tsubaki go on a trip. That night, Tsubaki suddenly tells him that she's breaking up with him and marrying Hiroya. Heartbroken, Mitsuru prepares to leave Earth, when Hiroya comes over. He tells Mitsuru that Tsubaki was lying to make Mitsuru go home as he would die if he stayed. Just before it's time to go, Mitsuru opens up to Tsubaki how he really feels.
