Ben and Jenny attend a concert by the band 'Brushes', which had great success at the end of the 90s. Guitarist Mark Heitmüller was also a celebrated superstar at the time. Since a burst appearance and the separation from singer Tom seven years ago, however, the band and Mark's life have gone steeply downhill and the "brushes" have gradually disappeared. But Ben has remained true to the band and is looking forward to the gig. The musical feast for the ears, however, is quickly over when brutally murdered Lisa Schmidt, ex-wife of singer Tom and former Groupie der Brushes, behind the stage during the poorly attended club appearance. Mark, who has found the seriously injured woman and in whose arms she finally dies, comes into the possession of a key that Lisa gives him shortly before her death. This apparently belongs to a safe deposit box. He has no idea yet that he and his ex-band colleague Tom will be in mortal danger from now on. (Text: RTL)
