When he was three years old, Koumi infiltrated the Kanzaki family to keep an eye on Meirin, manipulated the family's memories, and pretended to be Meirin's older brother. Meirin is shocked to hear the whole story. Then, Koumi disappears, taking Meirin with him. Bringing Ming-ling back to the Kaiun Tower, Koumi confesses to Meirin that he has always loved her. However, still angry at Meirin's reluctance to accept him, Koumi tries to forcibly kiss her and steal her power. Then the dark shrine maiden appears...
