Meirin and the others head for the Kaiun Tower in Eddie's car to attack the Dark Shrine Maiden head-on. However, no matter how fast they drive, they can't get close to the tower. Apparently, the tower is surrounded by a powerful magical barrier. After devising a new plan in the library, Meirin and the others split up. Then, Koumi shows up.
