Asuka declares that he will protect Meirin in his own way, but he still lacks the power to do so, as he has yet to awaken as one of the four gods. In addition, strange memories from the past come back to haunt him, and Asuka seems to be in a state of unrest. Then, an evil spirit disguised as Yue approaches Asuka. In order to protect Asuka, Meirin confronts the evil spirit. Asuka tries to protect her, but is swept away...
