It turned out that Tokiwa was Byakko, one of the four gods. According to Meirin's dream, Eddie could be Suzaku, Banri could be Genbu, and Asuka could be Seiryu. Asuka has a conflicted look on his face, but Eddie and Banri want to become the Four Gods as soon as possible. Eddie and Banri think that fighting evil spirits is the quickest way to wake up as the four gods, and they try various methods to encounter said spirits, but all of them fail. Then, news comes that a "statue of the four gods" is being displayed at a Chinese product exhibition currently being held. Thinking it might be a trick by the dark shrine maiden, Meirin and her friends decide to go to the Chinese exhibition.
